To say this Lent season has been difficult would be an understatement. The Lord has brought us to new paths and thoughts throughout this time. I am thankful for the learnings both John and I have endured. As a time of reflection, I felt this picture was appropriate. It is the Ironman swim start in the ocean. It is the beginning of the longest journey in many peoples lives. However, the journey usually begins much earlier. We are often unaware of where we actually are on our own journey.
At the end of March, we will make another decision about our adoption country. With the pending closure of Vietnam's program, we are already discovering different opportunities. It has been a time of peace for us though. WE know this is NOT in our hands. We have faith and trust in God for his direction.
